Name:
Lillian Bay Taran
Nicknames:
Lilli, Lina, Li, Beta
Species:
Gynoid (See Other info)
Gender:
Female (built to look like one)
Age:
2 (Appears 20-ish)
Alignment:
Neutral Good
Height:
3“2
Residence:
Central City
World of Origin:
Gaia
Occupation:
GUN Undercover Agent
Personality:
Lilli while being a robot, does have a very colourful personality. While not on duty, she can be very friendly and sociable with other members (So long as they accept her as an equal) and can be very empathetic towards anyone having a pretty bad day if they’re willing to talk to her about it.
Most of the time, she can be very cheerful and takes each and every day on the chin for the most part. If her mood does drop however, the bounce in her step can be lost quickly and she’ll become rather monotone and in some rare cases, very temperamental.
On duty however, she knows to focus on the job at hand and take her work very seriously, limiting how she acts off duty to a minimum. There’s a time and place for everything, but fun and games at work are a big no-no. This is not to say she acts like a computer however when working, as she can try to talk down a situation or put herself at risk to save someone in danger.
She can be a perfectionist at times and should something slip out of place or go a tiny bit wrong, it’ll throw her off slightly and make her either clumsy or reckless, which can lead to disastrous situations.
Strengths:
- Due to looking as lifelike as possible, makes it easy for her to move about in public without causing a major panic or concern. It also causes hostiles to drop their guard due to her soft appearance.
- Able to lift anything up to 1 ½ tonnes in weight, but no more
- Very accurate to a fault that she can shoot a dime off a wall.
- Due to her free will and thinking, she is able to think not only logically, but emotionally (I.e. Logic: The building will fall and there’s no chance of saving the people inside. Emotionally: I’m going to try anyway!)
- Jets in the souls of her boots can allow her to dash or hover briefly.
- Can interface with terminals to gather information.
- Very good at keeping herself hidden and sneaking.
Weaknesses:
- Because of the way she looks and acts, threats arn't taken very seriously without the use of violence.
- Due to having a personality, emotions can sometimes get the better of her at the worst times, specially if someone innocent is hurt in front of her.
- Tends to panic if things go wrong.
- Her CQC (Close Quarter Combat) abilities are terrible since she is built more for sniping/observation
- Her hand to hand combat is even worse and can‘t fight for beans at all.
- If hit while dashing or hovering, she can lose control and crash.
- While interfacing with something, her body is vulnerable as her presence is no longer within it while doing so.
-
Emerald Abilities:
None directly confirmed as of yet, but she can use them as a form of battery for her weapon to adapt different properties to them, depending on color and type.
History:
Originally starting off as a pet project A.I based off of some of the ways Eggman’s robots acted with sentience, Lilli was built up over the period of a good year and a half by Finn, a monkey gadget fanatic. After some time however her basic processes were working, but it wasn’t the vision Finn was going for. While she could respond, calculate and interface with certain programs, she had no soul to her whatsoever and no personality. Regardless, her creator ceaselessly worked on her to no end to see if she could really “live”. After finally figuring out what was missing from her core system, she began to show real life like emotions and even went so far as to hold a 30 minute conversation with her creator with emotions such as laughing and sighing.
After some time though, Lilli made a very startling request that caught Finn off guard. She asked for permission to own a body of her designs; a right to live. Finn found this very startling why an A.I would suddenly ask such a thing, but he promised to find a way to grant her wish. After a few months into Finn's employment at GUN and after the introduction of Androids, clearance was finally given for Lilli’s wish. Before the scientists assigned her a body however, Lilli quickly jumped to requesting she design it herself within reason and showed schematics for her new host body. The scientists while reluctant, eventually agreed to build her a body on her designs. After the manufacturing process, she was uploaded to her body to which, she opened her eyes for the first time and smiled brightly. Everyone wondered why she would pick such a bubbly appearance over something more… combat ready. Regardless, they accepted this and trained her to a suitable role. In the end, she was given the role of “infiltrator” as from her appearance alone she doesn’t look like a threat; helpful for someone trying to keep a calm situation or for anyone to drop their guard. In doing her duty, she not only experiences life, but fulfills Finn's Superhero/Spy Dream!
Likes:
Mixed Berry Sundaes, Soap operas, Gaming, Karaoke nights, Dancing, Socialising, being treated equally.
Dislikes:
Being referred to as “It, robot, tool” or anything else that makes her feel like nothing but a weapon, Being cooped up in small rooms, Being told her cooking is horrible, being made to feel she’s denied a right to live, being tickled (Will earn you a punch or broken ribs), “How many robots does it take…” jokes.
Appearance:

Her “fur” is almost snow white/ice blue with peach “skin” features and her eyes are turquoise. For the most part, she is often seen wearing black clothing that consists of long gloves, Thigh high boots and a body suit with “half-skirt”. While not good for protection, it is practical for mobility and balance. Night time/stealth operations swaps out the skirt for combats and couples with a hood to hide her hair.
Other Info:
- While some assume she was built after the Echidna designs or similar such races, this isn’t true. If anything, she is more modelled after a Poodle, which explains her obsession with hair and people assuming she's "weak and helpless", which she couldn't be further from.
- She can change her hair at will, but usually ties them into strands as a sort of homage to both them and a friend. Often times, she’ll tie it into a pony tail or change it however she pleases. For the most part though, it is tied into dreads as a homage to the ancient race and to a friend.
- To clarify, CQC and Hand to Hand combat are different in the sense that CQC is combat at close range involving weapons and hand to hand is combat that requires fists or a martial art. Lilli is only marginally better at CQC but still rather bad at it due to the amount of pressure it puts on her.
- Her actual name is “LIL-02”, but she dubbed onto herself a more casual name (Which is a play on words of “beta”)
- Her theme would be Washu's Lullaby: Instrumental Version
- Being so used to being on one end of a screen looking out than in, she’s developed a bad habit of pressing her face against monitors.
