(Just thought I'd throw this in to liven up this section of things and hopefully get a ball rolling)
Deep in the heart of the Robotropolis, in the labyrinthian bowels of the Central Citadel, a grim figure set about his work. Doctor Robotnik sat before the monitor screen, his face a mask of concentration as he began to input the last bits of data needed, fingers gliding effortlessly over the keyboard as he watched the figures play out before him. Once the last few strands of data were completed, he pressed the enter key and sat back and watched as the process began itself.
Reaching down the side of the terminal, he pulled up a recorder and turned it on. "Nidhoggr Project Entry Log Seven," he said out loud. "With the final calibrations made, we are ready to begin our preliminary test of the project. Projections so far predict success at this stage and imminent deployment afterwards, but protocol is protocol. I must say though, what I have seen so far is making excited for the prospect," he continued, face filling out into a cruel smile.
With that, he set aside the recorder. "Proceeding now," he murmured to himself, pressing a button on the monitor. Before him on the screen the scene changed from one of data and input to something far more despised- the sight of a forest, one of the few left untouched by him on Mobius. It was not the Great Forest that he so loathed, for he dared not risk any of the insipid Freedom Fighters discovering his little project at this stage of things.
Before his eyes, a wondrous scene began to play out- the trees began to bleach out, bark and leaves falling as they crumbled to dust, the effect spreading around as though by a disease. "Yes.... yes, very good," he murmured to himself with a pleased smile. "Veeeery good indeed~"
