 From the outside perspective, it was just a normal day. Shining sun, litte cloud cover, calming ocean waves. But to those who knew, tragedy was on the horizon. Blaze knew of this. The Sol emeralds were missing! And only she could hunt down the man responsible. She was firmly convinced it was Eggman Nega and his group of mechanical miscreants. She was preparing herself for combat, for adventure, and for her nemesis, Maze. It was middle of the day, and Blaze was making her way to the docks. She was going to make an attempt to find Nega. She had only so much time before he would figure out a scheme, or worse, jump to Gaia. Once aboard the ship, she called out to her crew to set sail, and her latest journey began. |

Unknown to the feline Princess, she had a stowaway.  Concealed by a cache of barrels, Marine giggled to herself. She knew if she was caught she'd be ordered home, but she knew the importance of her 'Best Friends' mission and the stakes it held. She knew Blaze would need her. After all, she was the one who saved Super Sonic and Burning Blaze from Dr. Eggman and his Doppelganger, Dr. Eggman-Nega using her Hydrokinesis, giving them the opportunity to give the villains the final blow. " This'll be bonza, fair dinkum!" she excitedly whispered to herself. |

It was almost an hour after they set sail when Blaze started to get suspicious.
Marine hadn't said goodbye, and she hadn't been pestering Blaze before she left.
Blaze groaned in annoyance, and started to try and find the young Raccoon girl.
After all, she had nothing better to do for the remainder of the trip

The young Raccoon popped her head above the barrels she was hiding behind to scout the area. She thought the bowels of the ship was the best place to hide, Blaze would never think of looking here! She sat back down and began to rummage in the backpack she'd brought along, which was filled to the brim with sandwiches, chocolate, soda and a small gaming device.. after all, this was gonna be a long trip and she wanted to be prepared. She took a sandwich from her pack, and began loudly rustling the foil from around it. |

Blaze unfortunately just happened to be heading to the lower deck of the ship. Her ears perked up at the sound of rustling foil. She scowls a bit, and as she goes to check the mess of barrels, she finds the young Raccoon. "Why am i not surprised. Marine, why are you here." Her voice was firm, with a hint of agitation behind it |

"EEK..!" screeched the raccoon as she almost out of her skin. She quickly jumped up to greet her friend. "Blaze! Fancy seeing you here! I was just... just.. checking this ripper dingy! Very sturdy!" she muttered as she gently stomped on the wooden floor as if to test how strong it actually was. |

Blaze folded her arms, clearly not buying it.
"You stowed away, didnt you?, Marine, what were you THINKING?"
Her expression and tone softens
"You know i go on all sorts of dangerous missions, how many times do i need to tell you? Stay home Marine..."

Marine's ears dropped and her bottom lip trembled. She knew she wasn't supposed to be here, but the idea of another amazing adventure with her 'best friend', saving the world and meeting new people.. it was all Marine wanted! "C'mon, mate? Please let me come with you? It'll be ripper! Just like last time with Sonic and Tails!" She jumped from behind the barrels and began dragging her friend above deck. "The wind in our hair, the fresh sea air..!" she giggled. |

Blaze had a deadpan expression as she was dragged up to the top deck "Marine, let me go..." She stood up and brushed herself off. "Marine, this mission is incredibly dangerous! I'm heading directly to Eggman Negas last known base of operations, who knows what sort of dangers could be there!" She looked down at the young Raccoon. "This wont be like last time with Sonic and Tails... I'm gunna go talk to the captain to turn the ship around" What little anger Blaze had left had been turned into concern, and it was clear in her tone. She was genuinely worried something could happen to Marine on this trip |

Marine stood her ground, she was adamant she was going with Blaze to help her. She just needed a way to convince Blaze she needed her. "Please Princess, I can help.. see?" Marine pointed her finger over the side of the ship and a stream of water rose towards the pair and swirled around them. She put her hands together and various shapes like Stars and Hearts formed. "Ive been practicing my hydrokinesis, strewth!" |

Blaze frowned, reaching out to the water and distorting one of shapes with her hand. "Marine... please tell me you can do more than just... parlor tricks with this." She pulled her hand away, flicking the water onto Marine. "If you wanna come along, i need to know you can handle yourself." |
