Caroline Kelapa
Nicknames:
Carrie
Species:
Belgian hare / Sumatran striped rabbit cross
Gender:
Female
Age:
17
Alignment:
Chaotic good
Height:
2’11’’ (not including ears)

Tenang (Same continent as Adabat)
World of Origin:
Gaia
Occupation:
Professional Squatter, builds weapons by commission
Personality:
A spoiled wild-child, Carrie was raised from birth to express her creativity however she desired, no matter what the rest of the world said. Though inspirational for a child, not the best lessons for an adult and as she’s gotten older Carrie has become more and more rebellious as the rules and conformations of society bear down on her “free spirit.”
Not the most social, she’s at her happiest in her workshop tinkering on some new project. Not to say she’s antisocial but other people don’t interest her the same way her work does, though she lives for the moments to show off some new finished design to people and get their initial reactions. Anything less than jawdropping is either a sign she failed or they simply don’t appreciate fine art.
Completely focused on what she wants to do, Carrie never got an actual job beyond making the occasional weapon by commission and lives mostly on her parents earnings with no intention of going out into the world and getting a 9 to 5. Such a thing would cripple her artistic mindset.
That is, except for one job. The one role she’d be willing to take; Professional Monster hunter. As crazy as it may sound, her goal is to use the weapons she builds out in the field against whatever creature may appear to attack her home…regardless of whether any are presently threatening anyone. She wants to be a hero to show off her amazing designs and skills using them for everyone to see.
Strengths:
As a rabbit/hare cross, she has very strong legs for sprinting and jumping.
Excellent hearing and reaction time.
Extensive knowledge on most firearms and weapons.
Knowledge and skill at welding, forging and building machinery.
Self-taught marksman, not the best but able to aim and handle some recoil.
Weaknesses:
Sensitive eyes, easily irritated by dust or particles in the air.
Due to her high natural energy, she needs daily exercise to burn it off.
Momentarily stunned by sudden loud noises.
Refuses to be given orders or told what to do, if she doesn’t agree.
Laser focuses on what she wants, caring little for what others say or want.
Prone to pranks.
Has an especially messy and noisy work area.
Often has fangirly geek-outs when seeing a new weapon for the first time.
Mooches off of those around her.
Emerald Abilities:
None known yet.
History:
Born to a pair of creatively inclined parents, a fiction writer and a painter, young Caroline was encouraged to explore and pursue her passions with reckless abandon. Any trouble she got into in school was treated seriously but chalked up to her free spirit. Growing up only a few miles from the vast ruins that covered her country, Caroline was fascinated with the chunks of stone and building and how they all fit together. She wanted to see how they looked in their time and studied local history diligently to get an impression of how the old civilization would’ve been.
In her early teens she developed a passion for scrap yard art and miniature models, taking pieces of metal and wood respectively and putting them together to create something new. Her parents encouraged this in her, hoping to cultivate their daughter into another artist, one who saw the world in a more creative and imaginative way.
However this along with a new hobby would land her in trouble. Caroline was apprehended by the local police for trespassing and vandalism when she was caught spray painting the concrete wall outside a junkyard. Of course being told no for the first real time in her life as the police escorted her back to her home didn’t sit well with her, her “free spirit” was not to be caged and from then on Caroline would become rather notorious in the area as a delinquent for her graffiti art.
At some point her love of putting things together touched on something new; a handgun that had been tossed into the trash. She found the pieces, all separated, and like a 3D jigsaw, put it back into a whole working device. From then on Carrie found herself reading up on weapons in general with moving parts but specifically any kind of gun she could find and learning the individual parts and where they go, what they do. Eventually trying to make her own designs from scratch.
In recent years Carrie stumbled upon an old decommissioned Eggman Empire outpost filled with broken or deactivated machines, robots and various tech. A veritable gold mine for her to harvest for her work.
