Species:
Doberman
Gender:
Female
Age:
34
Alignment:
Claims to be Lawful Good, closer Lawful/Neutral Evil
Height:
3'4" (3'7" while wearing heel boots)
Residence:
Emerald Town
World of Origin:
Terra (transferred to Gaia due to a freak accident and can't seem to get back there)
Occupation:
"warped" Legal Defense Attorney
Personality:
While considered to be Evil, She's considerably fair to a degree. She puts on a prim and proper appearance so as to put people at ease. Deep down though, she is calculating and ruthless in her judgement of clients and can cause a lot of harm to people where they hurt the most: Their reputation. While she does have a tendency to be quite the manipulator in the courts, she often lets down her front and shows that she's a degenerate. She's pretty much a deviant and gets amusement out of watching people get very uncomfortable with her many... antics.
Despite the Evil nature though, she's actually pretty chill and alright to be around.. Mostly. Just because she's an evil lawyer hell bent on punishing those who are responsible for crimes doesn't mean she can't be your friend, especially if the person she's interacting with is of good nature. In fact, as long as you are completely innocent of all criminal activity, she'll make sure that for her time with you, she'll be your best friend. Of course, if you've even so much as littered and you go to court someday... Well, let's just hope it doesn't come to that.
It's very rare for her to lose her temper, if it's even possible for her to do so. For the most part if anything bad happens to her, she'll laugh it off, even when it causes her harm or humiliation in some way. However, should someone clearly responsible for a vile deed manage to get away with it via the legal system, then she'll become very sadistic and mercilessly chase them down, often making anyone foolish enough to be on the wrong end of her wrath regret not demanding a guilty verdict.
Strengths:
- Master of deception
- More cunning than she lets on
- Surprisingly strong despite her build and clothing choice
- Sticks to the rules of the court house and will never convict someone wholly innocent
- Amazing fashion sense!
Weaknesses:
- A perverter of justice and people alike
- Can be thrown off through misdirection quite quickly
- Has a terrible habit of getting herself arrested
- Has an obsessive need for attention
- Not a fast runner at all
- Can't focus without her sunglasses and prone to losing her cool without them.
- Has very sensitive heels that can cause her to collapse when touched in a certain way.
Emerald Abilities:
Chaos Objection: Able to shout with the force of Chaos itself, Blasting away anything unfortunate enough to be caught in the violent winds she produces. Unfortunately it can only be used once per "chaos session" and if she's not firmly planting both feet down on the ground, then she'll be violently recoiled instead.
Burnout!: Can burn up quite a lot, which can be useful for quickly heating up the air around her, cauterizing any wounds or as some makeshift heatshield. Being under this effect for too long will cause her to pass out from overheating and oxygen starvation.
History:
Originally being a resident of Terra, she was born to a pair of sea faring travelers, making their names and lives on the seas and was expected to uphold this tradition of exploring. Being on the move constantly however, she had no chance to join a school and as such, she was home (or in this case, boat) schooled instead. Eventually, she took up the mantle of explorer herself and sailing in a ship of her own. Fate however had one very nasty sense of irony and on her maiden voyage into adventure, she was caught in a freak storm. The last thing she saw before blacking out was a flash of lightening striking her ship. Upon coming to, she found herself washed ashore on a beach near a town she hadn't recognized. She couldn't figure out how she'd came to be in this new place but one thing was certain: She wasn't getting back home anytime soon.
With no boat and no bearing on where she was, she was completely lost and alone, separated from family. She searched for someway home to her world, but with no money or means to even get there, it was a pointless effort. For some time, she resorted to scrounging for whatever she could get until one faithful day that she was wrongly accused of theft and tried in a court of law as a criminal. Despite being completely innocent, the prosecution had almost secured a guilty vote. Fortunately, the defense managed to pull through, but only due to falsified evidence and lies. Because of this the accuser who in all sense of irony turned out to be the real culprit, was only given a minor punishment and fine. Redolence seethed with anger and hatred for the system that was clearly rotted to it's core. At that point, her objective was clear: She was to become an attorney and punish all criminals, no matter their crimes.
Years passed and after attending law school with money pulled together from multiple jobs, she was a fully fledged lawyer at last. It wasn't long until she got her very first client, who was accused of disturbing the peace. The court proceedings went completely in her favor for the entire duration and her first client was looking very much close to being released with no charges. However, on the very last day, new evidence and a tip off to the prosecution suddenly showed up that quickly painted the client as a vicious criminal and he was sentenced with extreme prejudice. Unknown to everyone within the court, it was Redolence who provided both the tip off and evidence. This gave her a sick amount of twisted glee; she had destroyed the hopes and reputation of her "guilt ridden" client, who was originally only accused of disturbing the peace. She had found her calling.
In the space of 8 months, she became a feared name among those with minor offences, whereas some hailed her as a hero of justice, skilled at finding the hidden criminals. Rumors circulated about the "demon lawyer who'll convict you if you're not wholly innocent" and as a result, found herself only being assigned to clients as a last resort. This would not stop her agenda however, as she would alter paperwork and referrals so that those with some form of guilt would find their way to her instead and to their terrible fates. In turn, she became as ruthless and as vicious in the court as her clients with their crimes. However, she longs for the day she gets a client Who is completely innocent of all crimes and guilt and will treasure and dedicate herself to them.
Likes:
If there's anything she likes, it's standing in a court of law and doing her own thing... whatever that is anyway. She enjoys defending her clients with everything she's got (or condemning them with everything she made up).
She also likes to torment people with her need to be disturbing and attention like the judge or the bailiff on duty, which can result in her removal or arrest.
Outside of the courts though, she enjoys reading love novels, something of a guilty pleasure and making model cities... that the "Dreaded Legal Monster" can destroy later.
Dislikes:
She doesn't like being bribed to defend someone who's clearly guilty of a terrible crime. She works her usual magic and tries her damnedest to make sure they get the most horrible punishment in the law. If they walk scot free even though it's clearly obvious they're guilty, she'll make it her mission to hunt them and judge them herself, resulting in their doom.
She also doesn't like being told what she can or can't do. If she feels it's right for her to do, she'll do it. If not, she won't.
Appearance:
She's a very fiery shade of orange with white tufts on her chest, tail tip, forearms and shins, though with the clothing she wears it's hard to see sometimes.
She usually wears two toned clothing, which mostly consist of purple and pink, but can be other colors as well. Most would assume she does this due to being 50/50 with either saving a client or dooming them to their fates. In reality though, she's very scatter brained and most likely just can't make up her mind what she wants to wear.
Her hair sticks up in what looks like a flame like design, which often leads to people assuming her affinity of Fire or she's some kind of demon. Truth is she uses a lot of hair gel and feels it's the best way to grab attention.
She always wears a pair of shades over her eyes. Rumors have circulated that either she has no eyes or the shades act as them. Some also say that if you take them off and stare into what lies behind them, you'll see something horrifying, like your worst nightmares, your subconscious fears or that she's made entirely out of sock puppets! Regardless of the rumors, she rolls with them all and in the case she loses her sunglasses, is quick to cover her eyes up with cards that have eyes drawn on them, one for each mood she's currently in.

Other Info:
- Her need to wear two toned clothing is borderline pathalogical.
- She seems to be a lot more nicer out of the courts to everyone in general as opposed to in court. Off duty really does mean off duty for her and she'll even so much as offer consoling advice, laugh with you and even hang out and go shopping with you. Want someone to turn up to your birthday party cause no one else did? She's got you covered!
- Some would argue that she is good to some degree due to the moral code she has, but her agenda is very much tainted. She doesn't however, want to rule the world or destroy aimlessly. If anything, she lives pretty normally... well... not really, but she's not causing fires or eating babies at least.
