Name:
E-123 Omega
Nicknames:
Omega, Tin Man
Species:
E-100 series robot built by Eggman.
Gender:
No physical gender, referred to as he/him.
Age:
5-6 years of age.
Alignment:
Chaotic Neutral
Height:
4'11"
Residence:
GUN Headquarters
World of Origin:
Gaia
Occupation:
Member of Team Dark, working for GUN.
Personality:
Destruction, thy name is Omega.
At first functioning as a regular Eggman E-100 series, complete with robot jargon, an important thing to note is that somewhere, Eggman slipped up and gave him free will. You see, some robots want revenge for the horrible things their creator does, or at a conflict of wills-- Well, Omega's pretty upset that he never got put to use. Henceforth, all of his destructive willpower was turned against his master! Prideful and stubborn, Omega won't stop until the competition is destroyed or he's literally on his last limbs. Harboring a deep grudge against Eggman, he still has quite a bit of fondness for Rouge and Shadow, who discovered him and formally adopted him into the team.
Now, destruction? A big part of Omega's life. He's got a fully loaded arsenal and is only too thrilled to use it. Feeling like his status as a kill machine gives him huge amounts of purpose (that purpose being blowing things up), Omega outright admires anyone who can pack just as much heat as him. There's also the stunning bout of loyalty that Omega is capable of-- Rouge and Shadow are basically his best friends, almost his parents in a pseudo way. He's got a significantly younger mindset than the two of them, and follows their orders when necessary. Rouge likely has more sway over Omega than Shadow, being the one to put him into use.
Almost cheerful when he's not acting fully robotic, Omega has a free outlook on life that comes with having a steady purpose, a good group of friends, and a very explosive hobby. He's bound to make friends who share in the same ideals. He can be a bit immature (from the Comic's side) but it also comes with the fact that he's literally only five or six years old. He can be very excitable when things get smashy.
Strengths:
Omega can scan the energy levels of both biological and non-biological entities. This is nothing, however, compared to his walking arsenal of weapons. You name it? He has it. Missles, grenade launchers, lasers, so many lasers, flamethrowers, it goes on and on forever. Not only that, Omega is capable of using them. Having several kinds of combat uploaded into his system. He can hold himself with hand to hand combat as well as firing from a distance and is never happier when he gets to play tank for his friends.
He's nigh indestructable, except when faced with heavier competition. He's also capable of using radio waves to send messages and all of that good stuff. Maybe he's a personal wi-fi hotspot for Rouge, too. Who knows!
Weaknesses:
Pride is his downfall, for sure.
Kind of like the Black Knight in Monty Python, Omega just will not stop bragging even when he's down for the count. Even when a tactical retreat is in order, Omega wants to stay in the fray and keep fighting, and it's kind of hard to pry him away. He'll follow orders to the very end, even to several hundred years into the future, instead of self preservation-- both a weakness and a strength. Rouge and Shadow would be his ultimate weaknesses though, as the only way to make him really obey someone in charge is if they were in danger.
Emerald Abilities:
None.
History:
Created by Eggman as the last E-series robot, he was then promptly left to guard Shadow and never used properly, beyond his original order.
What happens to a robot who never gets used? They're left purposeless, and for someone with free will, that left Omega very angry. Once upon a time, Rouge, while looking for treasures, activated him in one of Eggman's hidden bases. He nearly attacked Shadow, thinking him to be a robot too-- before Rouge saved him and unites the team into one single purpose-- having a beef with Eggman. Omega makes it very clear he's out here to do one thing only, and that's prove that he's superior to all of Eggman's robots by taking them out. This purpose of his changes, though, and he becomes loyal to Shadow and Rouge, even comforting her in a distant, robotic way.
From then on, he partnered with Shadow, Rouge, and GUN throughout the course of the games and comics as an unbeatably loyal team of anti-heroes. Even at one point in the future, he is put in stasis for the sole purpose of serving them one last time. He's never seen without one of them by his side.
Likes:
Destruction, Rouge, Shadow, upgrades, new technology, violent shows and video games, people with incredible destructive gifts, classical music.
Dislikes:
Eggman, staying idle, talking it out, people who are stronger than him, so on and so forth.
Appearance:
Other Info:
Re: His crush on Blaze... I think he just admires her destructive capabilities and wishes to enjoy them together, not really a crush as much of a 'let's destroy things!!' thing.
